Isn’t it true, though? You get engaged — you’re hopelessly in love and excited beyond belief.
Then you go to plan the wedding. When I planned my wedding — over a year and a half’s time — I got a lot of gray hair. It’s so stressful. Everything costs so much money. The venue — individual plates or buffet? Cocktails and appetizers or none? Open bar or not? The dress. The accessories. The flowers. The cake.
But when it comes to things like wedding invitations (and save the date cards, and others), it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg.
You can cut corners and save money and it doesn’t take a lot of time or effort on your part. There are lots of ways out there to do things and still keep them as you’ve always imagined — but not costing the price that you can pay if you go all out. And what bride doesn’t want to go all out on her wedding day?
So, brides, relax. Keep things like your invitations beautiful but inexpensive. That way when your actual wedding day arrives you can still be that hopelessly-in-love bride. Your wedding day should be the best day of your life and you can keep it that way!
